What happens when schedules your initial consultation?
The initial virtual consultation is the first step in determining whether this care model is right for you.
During this comprehensive medical evaluation:
We’ll take the time to talk with you about your symptoms, your medical history, and your goals.
We assess whether your symptoms could benefit from a structured hormonal and/or metabolic approach.
We carefully review potential contraindications, risk factors, and safety criteria.
We determine whether this type of care can safely help you improve your quality of life, well-being, and functionality.
The initial consultation does not obligate you to begin treatment. Its purpose is to identify patients who truly benefit from this approach and for whom it is clinically appropriate.
What happens after the initial consultation?
If, following the evaluation, we confirm that this approach is appropriate and safe for you, we will discuss options for ongoing care.
Hormonal and metabolic symptoms often require follow-up, gradual adjustments, and careful monitoring, especially in the early stages. The type of follow-up is determined based on your clinical condition and your specific needs.
Access to medication and costs
Prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.
If you do not have a diagnosis of diabetes, these medications are generally not covered by health insurance plans, and preauthorization requests are often denied based on clinical experience.
To keep costs as affordable as possible and ensure you receive original, approved, and highest-quality medication, we work with direct-access programs from the manufacturer, such as LillyDirect.
During your consultation, we review the available options with you so you can make an informed decision.
We do not work with compounded medications, in accordance with ABOM recommendations and for reasons of safety, consistency, and quality.
